Polo Wraps

Polojo wraps are available in a variety of colours, made from top quality polar fleece. These wraps have an extra strength Velcro design; the Velcro is as wide as the entire width of the wrap, eliminating the need for tape. Once the wrap is on, the Velcro is completely hidden under the fleece, leaving your horse feeling safe and looking smart!

Polo wraps are a necessity on the polo field for two reasons. They protect your horse from any knocks but most importantly they support your horses tendons from strains, sprains and other serious injuries. If polo wraps are not applied correctly they can do more damage than good.
1 Always start at the top of the leg, leaving a flap for extra protection over the tendon.
2 ALWAYS wrap the tendons inwards towards the inside of the horses' legs. This allows for extra support. Never wrap one leg in and one leg out!
3 Never pull the wrap tight over the tendon, only pull tight over the cannon bone i.e. use a pull and release action, releasing pressure over the tendon.
4 Wrap twice around the fetlock and then make your way back up, always ending at the top i.e. the starting point.
5 Follow groves of the wrap down and up as if applying a racquet grip.
6 Always make sure there are no wrinkles or lumps in the wrap, which may cause pressure on the tendon.

  Body Warmers

The body warmer is a new concept made from thermal fleece with no hardware such as buckles, clips or straps. The body warmer slides over the horse's head covering the body like a jumper. This garment is designed to be worn under another blanket or rug. It is not suitable to be worn on its own. The body warmer is held on by the top blanket or rug, an air pocket between the two layers creates the effect of a third layer of warmth. The body warmer provides extra protection for unstabled horses against the harshest winters.
  Sweat Rugs
The polojo sweat rug is a one piece made from a light highly absorbent cotton fabric. The polojo sweat rug slides over the horse's head, less hardware allows for greater comfort and greater durability. The sweat rug has webbing back straps, which cross between the horse's legs, allowing for greater comfort and better fit!
Sweat rugs are important for keeping the chill off your horse after play. They absorb the sweat allowing the horse to cool down and dry off without catching cold. Once your horse is cool and dry you can apply your winter polojo rug. Polojo sweat rugs are machine washable and quick drying.
